Lucas is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with particular interest in areas of psycho-oncology, existential psychotherapy, palliative care, and grief and loss. Lucas has supported clients with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, existential concerns, and chronic illness. Lucas believes that at its core, the therapeutic relationship is a human interaction offering the potential for deeper insight into our shared and flawed humanity.

Lucas is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with particular interest in areas of psycho-oncology, existential psychotherapy, palliative care, and grief and loss.

During his training, Lucas worked across both hospital and private-practice settings.

He has experience in providing evidence-based treatment with varying presentations across the life span, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential therapies. Lucas has supported clients with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, existential concerns, and chronic illness. Lucas believes that at its core, the therapeutic relationship is a human interaction offering the potential for deeper insight into our shared and flawed humanity.

Furthermore, irrespective of one’s life history and present circumstances, the therapeutic relationship may assist clients in living a dignified and meaningful life.
